SARADEC
I had the opportunity to work with SARADEC as part of a design program, which is a government initiative. My work was protected by intellectual property rights, and I was given an internship for a year with Brown Furniture to develop the concept further. I also had the chance to participate in a joint venture between Institut Teknologi Bandung and SARADEC, mentored by industry known professionals. This resulted in the design being manufactured by both Brown Furniture and ITB.

An armchair that suits all occasions, whether home living dining set, twin outdoor set or commercialised area such as restaurant and hospitality. Inspired by eclecticism, users can rest and grab their palm with carve front end while relaxing on backrest based on modernised version of 19th century Victorian Crown Jewel. Material are indigenously 100% Borneo Ironwood, or known as Belian that only can found in Borneo island. Each Ulin Chair are hand manufactured in Brown Furniture, situated in downtown Kuching. Users can specify this chair with their own bespoke specification such as upholstery and sizing that suit the user body preference. To date, Brown Furniture hand produced 15 units, targeted at high end clientele.

B01 Chair
An Easy chair that suits a coffee table, whether outdoor and indoor setting but with a minimalistic approach in mind. Design with a serene and soothing where it featured a backrest inspired from boomerang, with the great level of comfort. Upholstered with stretched fabric with a calm grey blend with Sungkai wood. This chair remains a concept as it shows how designers are able to free up the limitation of chair design. Manufactured by Institut Teknologi Bandung, and trademark by SARADEC

A dining chair designed to suit every occasion. inspired from Euphoria, where jovial and excitement merge together to create a minimalistic approach. Featured rattan seats for added detail with curved backrest. Made up of Peronema canescens (Verbenaceae) or known as Sungkai wood, 100% finished with its own natural based finish.
